Brooke draws no wage — an owner-operator is paid by what survives the bottom line, so putting a salary on her would leave a “profit” that means nothing. Robin rents a chair: those clients pay through the salon’s till, so the takings arrive in revenue and leave again as a pass-through, and what Suite B keeps is the rent.
